Check someone in
The short answer
Under Tonight, tap the class. Tap the person's name, then tap how they paid: Cash, Card, a discounted price if a rule applies, Pass, or IOU. That second tap checks them in and records the payment. The price is on each button, so there is no maths at the door.
Steps
- Open Tonight. Today's date is already chosen; use the arrows for another day. If you teach at more than one venue, pick the venue at the top.
- Tap the class. The roll opens with Regulars at this venue first and Everyone one tab away; the search box finds anyone.
- Tap the person's name. The payment choices appear, each with tonight's price: Cash, Card, any discount or deal with its reason, Pass, IOU, free trial or comp if those apply.
- Tap how they paid. They are checked in and the payment is recorded. The sheet closes.
Fixing a slip
- Tapped the wrong name? Tap Cancel. They stay unmarked.
- Checked someone in by mistake? Tap their name, then Not here · remove. You get a few seconds of undo.
- Wrong payment? Remove the check-in and tap the right one.
What the badges mean
- Had trial: their only visits so far were free trials. It's a note, not a block: your call.
- No waiver: they haven't signed up yet. Show them the sign-up QR code.
- No filming: they don't want to be photographed or filmed.
- IOU: an open IOU from a night they forgot their pass.
Two people can run the door on two phones at once; each check-in saves on its own. Volunteers with a staff sign-in see the roll and people, never money or pay rates.

Questions
Can two people check students in at the same time?
Yes, on two phones. Each check-in saves on its own, so nobody overwrites anyone.
Does checking someone in take the payment?
No. ClassMetrix records that they paid, and how. Cash goes in your tin and cards go through your own terminal.
