Record an IOU, and settle it
The short answer
If a regular forgot their pass card, tap their name and then IOU. They are checked in and owe one class on their pass. The next time they are checked in, the sheet shows "Owes 1 class from …" with a Settle button that punches the pass.
Record it
- Tap the person's name on the roll.
- Tap IOU ("Forgot their pass"). It is only offered to people who have a pass with classes left.
Settle it
- Next visit, tap their name. The sheet shows the open IOU: "Owes 1 class from Beginner Swing (Mon 6 Oct)".
- Tap Settle. One class comes off their pass. Then check them in for tonight as usual.
An IOU is a punch, not a payment: don't take cash from someone who has already paid for the class. The IOU is recorded at the pass's per-class price so the night's revenue is right. Open IOUs show on the person's page.
