The sign-up QR code
Under More → Sign-up QR code (also ▦ Sign-up QR on any roll) is your studio's QR code. Show it on the phone or Print it for the desk. A new student scans it, fills in name, mobile, email, emergency contact and where they heard of you, agrees to the code of conduct and signs the waiver, and appears at the top of tonight's roll with the waiver signed. No app, no account.
What the form does
- Takes name, mobile, email, emergency contact and "how did you hear about us" (your own list, set under Studio settings).
- Shows your current code of conduct and waiver and records which version was agreed, and when.
- Lets a parent sign up several children in one go and sign for them; the roll shows who signed and how to reach them.
- Attaches to an existing person if the mobile or email is already yours, so a returning student who never signed doesn't become a duplicate. The form never reveals whether a number is already registered.
- Lets two people share an email and still be two records.
Changes to review
The form never changes an existing person's details by itself (anyone could type someone else's number). If a sign-up gives a different last name, email or emergency contact for someone you already have, it waits under More → Changes to review for an admin to Accept or Ignore.
The waiver and code of conduct themselves are written under More → Waiver and code of conduct; publishing a new version doesn't un-sign anyone, it records that they signed the old one.
