For community fitness classes and bootcamps
Community fitness classes, bootcamps and outdoor group training are pay-as-you-go: people turn up when they can, pay cash or card on the spot, or use a punch card. ClassMetrix gives the trainer one list on a phone, one tap for who paid and how, a QR code for new people to sign the waiver, and a month-end view of what each session makes after the venue and the trainer. Sessions in a park, a hall and a studio each carry their own costs.
What a bootcamp door needs
- Speed, outdoors, on a phone. Six people arriving at once at 6am. One tap for the name, one tap for how they paid. The price is on the button.
- Punch cards. A 10-session card at a discount, shown on the phone as circles, so the person can see how many they have left.
- Casual rates and concessions. A stated casual price and a stated concession, so nobody negotiates in the car park.
- Trainers paid per session. Recorded on the day; paid in a batch at month end; flagged if a paid session's trainer changes.
- Venues with different costs. The park permit, the hall hire, the studio rent. Each session carries its own.
- A waiver. Signed on the participant's own phone before the first session, with the version recorded.

Questions
How do I track who paid at a bootcamp?
One list on the trainer's phone, one tap per person for cash, card or pass. A pass shows as a punch card. The count at the end tells you what the cash tin should hold. No clipboard, no spreadsheet the next day.
Can I run sessions in a park and in a hall with the same system?
Yes. Each venue has its own cost (the park may be a council permit, the hall a hire fee) and its own cash tin, and each session carries the venue's cost into its profit.
What if I pay trainers per session?
Record who ran each session on the day. At the end of the month the amount owed to each trainer is a list of sessions, and you pay several at once by bank transfer or from the tin.
